We’re never ones to be trendy, so whether you dress for success, or just for fun, it’s cool with us. Just be yourself, and wear it with swagger. Here are some of our favorite looks which celebrate individual style and personality.

Cleverhood’s Electric Houndstooth is a waterproof rain cape specially designed for cyclists. The classic houndstooth pattern is enhanced with reflective thread. It has a fitted hood, a chest pocket and elastic thumb loops.

If you can’t afford ScotteVest’s pocket-filled apparel, why not try Diane’s tactic? Or not. She made a jacket using nothing but Ziploc bags. Maybe you could make a fully waterproof version using Tyvek.

The Tropiformer is a lightweight and water-resistant jacket with plenty of compartments for gadgets and other personal belongings, even tablets. You can also remove its sleeves and wear it as a vest.

Cuddle your inner wild child with the Griz Coat, a faux fur coat with a silly fake bear head-hood large enough to hide your entire face. Thankfully it’s detachable, though the fake claws are not.

Made by Stone Island for its 30th anniversary, the outer structure of the President Knit jacket has thousands of tiny glass beads, making it incredibly reflective. And incredibly expensive.

As part of their CES 2013 lineup, ScottEVest created this concept design for a futuristic upgrade to their Technology Enabled Clothing line, which envisions all kinds of wearable tech we wish we had today.

ISAORA makes variants of their hooded down jackets and down vests that are made with highly reflective Italian fabric, going from matte gray to shiny silver white when fully illuminated.

One of the jackets made by Reigning Champ and motorcycle maker Deus Ex Machina, this hoodie has a sewn-in balaclava and a hidden pocket, perfect for bikers. Watch for it on their online stores.

The Disco Tuxedo Jacket is just as flashy but (a bit) more formal than the Disco Hoodie. Pair it with the Disco Pants and Disco Vest for maximum shininess. It’s not reversible though.

Japanese company Hit-Air makes motorcycle jackets and vests with reusable airbags that inflate when a trigger is forcibly separated from the motorcycle key. Skip to 0:50 for the demo.

This jacket should be called Beer Smuggler, because that’s what it does. It has insulated inner pockets that lets the wearer hide drinks and keep them cool. Its zipper doubles as a bottle opener.

This versatile jacket includes the M65, which is made of a fabric that repels wind, rain and snow and has a packable hood. It also has an inner quilted layer that can be worn on its own.

Firmament’s Stone Island 30/30 Multi Jacket consists of a liner and a shell. Both are reversible and can be worn together or alone for a total of 30 combinations. Think of it as getting 30 $70 jackets.

Adidas SLVR recently released a line of apparel inspired by fencing uniforms. The clothes have a snug fit and are dominated by asymmetrical details. The women’s jacket is especially dope.
