iPad gaming is upon us, and Broken Radio Games’ Globetrotters will use the iPad’s multi-touch display to let up to 4 players bounce between planets as they try to catch stars before their friends.

Get a preview of Bitolithic’s Comic Zeal V4, an iPad version of its iPhone app; for the uninitiated, it’s a comic reader that reads CBZ, ZIP, CBR, and RAR files natively (PDF with Sync).

It doesn’t have the cool vintage factor of the BookBook, but Nedrelow’s BOOK for iPad scores points with minimalists with a clean linen cover and 100% wool felt sleeve inner lining.

While we liked both Wired and Sports Illustrated‘s take on the tablet magazine, VIV Mag’s iPad Demo is a real page- and head-turner; it’s an all digital publication concept.

The jury’s still out on the new iPad, but we like Cocoon’s Gramercy; the messenger sling not only holds an iPad/netboook but includes a GRID-IT system and iPhone/media window.

Whether you’re an Apple lover or hater, it’s hard not to agree with CollegeHumor’s iPad Comedy Gold Mine; from feminine hygiene to giant iPhone, it’s a little too easy to make fun of.

Apple’s iPad is official: 0.5″ thick and 1.5 lbs, it sports a 9.7″ capacitive multi-touchscreen, 16-64GB flash memory, 1GHz Apple A4 chip, WiFi 802.11n, Bluetooth, and optional 3G.
