Awesome Invincible

(Gore) We were glued to our screen for every minute of Invincible season one. Robert Kirkman’s animated series has great characters, amazing action, visceral violence, and packs an emotional punch. Still, Screen Junkies managed to find a few things to poke fun at, especially the protagonist’s tendency to over-apologize.

Actor J.K. Simmons has made a career out of playing some of the most loathsome characters ever (and that guy in the Farmers Insurance commercials). YouTuber Opner combined footage from his performance as Omni-Man in Invincible with his famous “when life gives you lemons” rant as Cave Johnson in Portal 2.

Based on Robert Kirkman’s comic book, this animated series follows the relationship between a young man (Steven Yeun) and his father (J.K. Simmons), the world’s most powerful superhero.
