Designed as a replica of a 1940s Fresnel studio lamp, Restoration Hardware’s version has a shiny aluminum body, stainless steel base, and takes normal lightbulbs so you don’t blind your guests.
Pixelated Ping Pong Pad
A teeny 90 sf private hideaway for a partner in the Snarkitecture firm, Box/Box was completed in 2 months at a cost of less than $100/sf and features 25,000 ping pong balls as wallpaper. (Thanks Jon!)
Subdivisions Lamps
Crafted from concrete, steel and aluminum, Atelier Takagi’s LED tabletop lamps get their inspiration from the bright lights you’d find lining pre-fab community streets and mall parking lots.

TON Floating Buddha Speakers
TON makes speakers that provide ambient lighting, and are organic and pricey. The Floating Buddha is no different. Most of it is covered in or lacquered with gold leaf. Four 60w speakers hide inside.

A wonder substance that turns walls into dry erase boards. Sketch ideas in the office, paint a bulletin board in the kitchen, or turn bedroom walls into outlets for your kids’ intense desire to doodle.
Concrete Wall
Believe it or not, that’s a wallpaper. Concrete Walls are exactly that – pictures of concrete walls turned into wallpapers. There are a couple of brick walls and ones with graffiti as well.
