Awesome Inflatable

Puppeteer and performance artist Tim Davies shows off his latest creation – a gigantic inflatable octopus puppet with articulated tentacles. It measures more than 13 feet high and 22 feet wide, yet has soft and smooth movements despite its size. More here.

“I like being inside strange things.” The Slow Mo Guys Dan Grunchy gets packed inside of a giant inflatable ball, then launched into the air using a bunch of powerful water jets. From the outside, it really does look like some kind of out-of-control tentacled monster.

A video has been making the rounds showing what it’s like to open an airplane slide from the passengers’ point of view. That’s interesting and all, but this clip of a slide being opened without an airplane attached is far more entertaining. Stabilized version here.
