It’s no Wii, but the Rii mini is wee-sized: the wireless keyboard is ideal for HTPCs and includes 26 backlit keys, a 2.4GHz receiver, touchpad, mini-gamepad, laser pointer, and Li-ion battery.
The nettop goes ultra-thin with Shuttle’s XS35; the 3.3cm HTPC features a 1.6GHz Atom D510, ION 2 graphics, HDMI-out, 5 USB ports, ethernet jack, 2.5″ HDD, and DVD drive.
Earthy both in terms of design and eco-friendliness, Design Hara’s HTPC is a mini-ITX unit with recyclable cypress or rose wood chassis; it also uses 1/3 the energy of desktop computers.
Barely 1″ thick, Piixl’s EdgeCenter 3770 is an HTPC that mounts behind a 37″-70″ flat panel TV; it maxes out with dual Xeons, 2 TB HDD, 24GB RAM, 1GB ATI HD-5850, and Blu-ray RW.
