TP-Link’s intelligent power strip lets you toggle up to six devices at once. You can remotely turn devices on and off via its app, or use Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, or Microsoft Cortana to control them via voice. It also has three USB charging ports.

Part of Bose’s new line of smart speakers, the Bose Home Speaker 500 supports Amazon’s Alexa, so you can fire up your favorite music or podcasts using your voice. It can stream music over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, and it also has a 3.5mm aux input.

Fuseproject’s Ori is an all-in-one furniture system for small apartments. A control panel and a mobile app lets the user move Ori laterally, revealing a bedroom, a living area, or both. It can also be integrated with home automation services.

The Fire TV Cube is a 4K media streaming device with Amazon’s Alexa assistant. It lets you control your TV, sound system and cable box with your voice. Like other Alexa devices, it also lets you operate home automation devices, look up information online and more.

Securmate is an entrance sensor that connects to your phone and home automation devices via Wi-Fi. It supports IFTTT, so you can make your lights, security cameras and other smart devices activate when your door or window is opened. It can also send alerts to your phone.

Turn Touch is a minimalist programmable remote control with a genuine wood case. You can set it to control most smart devices that connect over Wi-Fi, such as Sonos speakers, Philips Hue lights and smart locks. It can also control Mac and iOS devices.

Naran’s MicroBot Sense is a tiny Bluetooth device that provides information through an app about a wealth of inputs, from movement and vibration to temperature and light. It supports Amazon Alexa, Google Home, IFTTT and Webhooks.

Master Replicas’ upcoming Full Scale HAL 9000 replica responds to lines from 2001: A Space Odyssey with the appropriate lines. But it’s also an Amazon Echo device, which means you can use it to play music, ask questions, control smart home devices and more.

The Mycroft Mark II is a voice-operated A.I. assistant. Unlike Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri, it’s open source, which means any programmer can inspect and improve its software. It also won’t sell your data to advertisers, and by default it does not store your voice prompts.

Palo Alto Innovation’s Sandman Doppler has stereo speakers, six USB charging ports and is Alexa-enabled. It also has shortcut buttons for your favorite Alexa commands and macros, and an auto-dimming RGB LED display.

Web developer unt1tled made his own virtual assistant based on Windows’ Cortana. What makes it stand out is that he built an accompanying holographic image by reflecting a custom-made 3D animation from a monitor to three panes of glass.

Amazon’s latest virtual assistant has a built-in 7″ touchscreen display and a 5MP camera. The Echo Show lets you watch short videos from Amazon, YouTube etc., control and interact with smart gadgets, video call with other Echo Show users and more.

The MicroBot Push 2 lets you wirelessly control and automate almost anything that has a button or a switch. It works with IFTTT, Amazon Alexa, WeMo and more. The Push 2 has quieter gears than the original, as well as a timer feature and touchscreen compatibility.

Nanoleaf’s unusual LED bulb supports Apple’s HomeKit, so you can control them with voice commands via Siri. Its wireless control hub and mobile app can be used to control other HomeKit-compatible bulbs as well.

Knocki lets you automate your home or trigger your phone just by tapping or knocking. It senses vibration (not sound) on a variety of hard surfaces, and you can assign knock patterns to different functions.
