If you’re fortunate enough to own a McLaren 765LT, you should be happy that it produces 765 hp at the rear wheels already. But if that’s not enough, Hennessey will be happy to boost its engine’s output to 1000 hp, resulting in a 0-to-60 time of 2.1 sec. In addition to the tune, the upgrade includes a high-flow exhaust system.
THE BEST Hennessey
Hennessey Performance has taken wraps of the production version of its Venom F5 hypercar. The $2.1 million rear-wheel-drive monster has a 6.6L turbo V8 that makes an insane 1817 hp. With a low-drag aero shape and a carbon fiber body, the car weighs just 2,998 lb for the best power-to-weight ratio of any road car. Top speed: 311 mph.
Because the 702 horsepower Ram 1500 TRX isn’t enough, Hennessey Performance Engineering has taken the pickup and bestowed it with an extra set of wheels, and a tuned 7.0-liter Hellephant engine that makes more than 1200 hp. Hennessey will build just three of the $500,000 trucks, which go on sale 9.4.2020 at noon CST.
Hennessey Performance Engineering amped up the GMC Sierra Denali pickup truck, adding a 2.9L supercharger to its 6.2L V8, taking it from a stock 420hp up to a bonkers 700hp. Combined with a stage-1 off-road package, it gets a 6-inch lift, 20″ wheels, 35″ off-road tires, and a menacing GOLIATH front bumper with LED lighting.
Tuning experts Hennessey Performance took the 2020 Jeep Gladiator pickup truck, gave it a 6.2L Hellcat V8 engine and an amped up supercharger, making 1000 hp and 933 lb-ft. of torque. It has custom bumpers, 20″ wheels, an upgraded suspension with a 6″ lift, and much more. See it in person at the 2019 SEMA Show.
This monster of a Chevy Silverado truck was blessed with a 6-wheel drivetrain, an 8-inch lift kit, a 450 bhp engine upgrade, massive 37-inch BF Goodrich off-road tires, LED lighting and more by the mad minds of Hennessey Performance. It also required a custom-built bed to fit that third axle.
The F-150 Raptor is back, and Hennessey has a new VelociRaptor upgrade package for it. The biggest additions are the second rear axle and extra pair of wheels. It also has better suspension, bumpers and the option to go up to a 600+hp twin-turbo engine kit.
It’s not the mythical F5, but Hennessey’s super saiyan Lotus still boggles the mind. The 2016 Venom GT’s 7-liter twin-turbo V8 can unleash up to 1,451 hp and propels the 2743 lb. rocket from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.4s, with an estimated top speed of 280 mph. And yes, it’s a manual.
