Awesome Hamsters

If you’re going to build a maze for your hamster, it really should have a cute theme. Homura Ham has built lots of fun hamster environments, including this adorable and colorful scene inspired by the game level design of Super Mario Bros. We’re just glad the furry little guy didn’t get devoured by a Piranha Plant.

Captain Hamster built this amazing hamster maze, which incorporates a variety of puzzles inspired by the Portal series. Each of its chambers allows its test subject to escape after it takes a spin on a hamster wheel or completes a series of tasks. This time, the cake was not a lie.

One of the most entertaining things to do with a pet hamster is to set it loose in some kind of a maze. Using LEGO Duplo bricks, The Secret Life of my Hamster built a wonderfully colorful and complex obstacle course, and then let their fluffy white pet Marshmallow take it for a spin.

These two furry animals are not enemies – the hamster doesn’t freak out and bail when the cat arrives. But they’re not close friends either, as shown by the hamster’s unwillingness to share.
