Awesome Halo

While the live-action launch trailer for Halo 4 is pretty sweet, this one will make you hug your Xbox 360, as it seems like the game will squeeze every ounce of performance out of your old friend.

With the latest in the Halo saga just days away, we get out first ever glimpse of the painful installation of Master Chief’s augmentations in this live-action launch trailer – and a powerful new foe.

In-depth footage of Halo 4’s multiplayer modes. The improved multiplayer combines deathmatch, co-op, strategic and storyline elements, and rewards players for teamwork, not just kills or flag carries.

(NSFW: Language) A couple of guys descend into an old oil reserve tank to snap some photos, but that’s not what’s great about this clip – it’s the dude’s recreation of the Halo theme. (Thanks OrionFyre!)

Looks like we’ll need all of the new weapons – and then some – in Halo 4 with the introduction of the Mantis, the long-legged and heavily-armed mech from the Halo lore. Yes, you can make it squat.

It’s been 2 years since the trailer and 6 years since Alex Kobbs and the rest of Kooberz Studios started working on this LEGO Halo stop motion film. It was all worth it. Nearly 28 mins. of fun and action.

This fun footage of DragonCon 2011 from YouTube user beatdownboogie has clips of renowned cosplayer Yaya Han, the Nightmare Armor costume makers and a seemingly perfect soundtrack.

Forza 4 has a virtual car showroom, with an audio tour by none other than Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson. Here he talks about a special ride, one of the most iconic fictional vehicles… in the world.

Uses the original gameplay code, so it plays exactly the same as it did 10 years ago, but with the graphics of a current gen game. Switch the visuals to classic mode if you’re feeling nostalgic.

Set after the conclusion of Halo 3, Master Chief is back to kick off the first in a whole new trilogy. We’re hopeful that 343 Industries carries the Bungie torch with pride in this Q4 2012 release.

Alan Marsala and Chance McManus combined footage from Halo: Reach with live action – and cheesy acting – to make their short film, You Will Never Get The Power Core.

The talented Ben Caulkins has built a remarkable Master Chief helmet completely from LEGOS which features many fine details, including the dazzling gold visor (from a modified motorcycle helmet).

For video game characters, dying is nothing but a minor setback – they’ll just respawn. That is until they go to heaven and want to stay dead. Also, apparently dead Spartans don’t get halos.
