For its Halloween episode, HouseholdHacker shows us how to make realistic fake blood using off-the-shelf items. All you need is flour, corn syrup, red and blue food coloring and 60 seconds.
THE BEST Halloween
The latest short film from Joe and Lloyd Stas (Blood Drinker and Jacques Diego’s Last Stand) is a creepy and quirky Halloween tale – the story of Whitby, a dedicated trick-or-treater who wants to hit every house in town – except for the one occupied by his archnemesis.
With Back to the Future Day upon us, and Halloween just around the corner, we can think of no better costume than Marty McFly on a Hoverboard, which makes it look like its wearer is hovering off the ground, without magnets or electricity – just a good old optical illusion.
The Crazy Russian Hacker shows off a simple trick which allows the pressure build-up from dry ice to pop out pieces of a pre-cut pumpkin. It’s a silly effect, but a fun Halloween party trick. We’re guessing that a more tightly sealed pumpkin would be much more explosive.
Instead of going with a conventional costume this year, why not wear one of these awesome knit sweaters, inspired by A Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th and Halloween. It’s probably not going to be cold enough to wear a scarf, but those are cool too. (Thanks Mia!)
