(PG-13: Language) Opposites attract, so naturally, punk-metal band GWAR and NPR hooked up for a Tiny Desk Concert. Blöthar the Berserker held court, saying they brought maestro Wilhelm Fartwrangler along to class things up, then plunged into a surprisingly blood-splatter-free set of Sex Cow, I’ll Be Your Monster, Ratcatcher, and Phantom Limb.

This documentary takes us inside the world of one of the most outrageous acts ever, GWAR. Along with interviews with the band’s members, you’ll hear how the masters of trash metal have influenced everyone from Weird Al to Bam Margera, and the hard work that goes into their fluid-soaked stage shows. Club managed to score an intimate acoustic concert session with the legendary intergalactic metal band while quarantined. Incredibly, zero fake blood or guts were spilled during the performance.
