We just checked out what is likely the smallest working PS5 console. We now have the opposite – a gargantuan Xbox Series X that’s nearly 7 feet tall. Michael Pick teamed up with ZHC to build and decorate this beast, and yes, it plays games. It’s since been donated to the YMCA Youth and Teen Development Center in Atlanta, GA.

Make Anything’s Tippi Tree is a party game that challenges players to stack and interlock blocks but in a more organic way than Jenga. Maker Devin Montes has now built a giant version of the game out of wood. If you want to play some Tippi Tree for yourself, you can purchase the design for 3D printing from MyMiniFactory.

For more than 20 years, theater company La Machine has been building massive mechanical puppets that they march through the streets. During an April 2022 performance in Toulouse, France, their fire-breathing dragon-horse Long Ma Jing Shen teamed up with Asterion the minotaur to stare down a giant spider.

If you’ve spent any time in Chicago, you might be familiar with the sculptures at the Merchandise Mart known as the PEZ Heads. Paul Jackman built a similarly gargantuan PEZ dispenser, but this one actually works. Though it spits out shoeboxes and has a giant boot on top instead of a character head.

The guys from RPG-themed tea company D&Tea turned up at Anime NYC and ECCC with what they say is the world’s largest dungeon map. Based on a design by RPG cartographer Dyson Logos, the enormous fabric map looks like it’s at least 30 feet long, assuming the person lying in the middle is roughly 6 feet tall.

Scott & Heather of Scavenging Metal create amazing art inspired by pop culture. One of our faves is this steel cassette tape that’s five times larger than the real thing. We love the details like the ball-bearing reels and tape made from chain. Oh, and next Halloween, we’re totally going with their propane tank jack-o’-lanterns.

A while back, we saw what was then the largest NERF gun on record. Not one to be outdone, Michael Pick aka The Casual Engineer created an even bigger dart-flinging toy – measuring 12 ft. 6 in. long. Based on the NERF N-Strike Elite Longshot CS-6, Michael’s weapon can fire jumbo darts up to 250 ft. at speeds up to 50 mph.

In 2014, farmer Matt Radach captured time-lapse footage of a pumpkin growing from “seed to scale.” But this is no ordinary squash. This monster was birthed from a seed from a world-record-holding giant pumpkin, and by the time it was done, it weighed in at 1223 pounds. Keep your eyes peeled for a Transformers cameo.

(PG-13: Language) Playing with toy cap guns is a rite of passage for many kids. Their impact-sensitive explosives make quite the racket at normal size, so imagine how loud a 5-foot-tall cap gun might sound. Builder Nick O’Hara shows how he designed and built his giant noisemaker, then used it to scare the crap out of his pals.

There’s something so satisfying about restoring rusty old objects. This particular item – a gigantic cigarette lighter – is definitely one of the stranger things we’ve seen brought back to life. Sit back and relax as TysyTube takes the beast apart, cleans it up, and makes it good as new. Sandblasting is magic!

As part of a balloon animal kingdom, a multi-national team of 34 artists and students from the Netherlands, Turkey, and Spain created this giant sculpture of a dinosaur from 150,000 biodegradable balloons. The 64-foot-long creature was on display in Istanbul in November 2020. We want to see the popping footage now.

One of the best things about the Nintendo Switch is its ability to go from a handheld to a home console. If you prefer to play on a big screen, then Michael Pick’s mod is for you. The builder created this fully functional Switch with a TV and custom-made buttons. Best of all, he donated it to Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

The whole idea behind SD and MicroSD cards is that they’re small enough to carry around in your pocket. But that also means they’re easy to lose. Useless Mod solved this problem by building a 10x size scale replica of a SanDisk SDXC memory card that’s guaranteed not to get lost, and actually works as a storage device.

While it doesn’t have nearly as many pieces as the Ultimate Collector Series version of the Millennium Falcon, intronDave’s LEGO model is about 50% larger. He used the now rare mid-scale version as a guide for 3D printing 356 jumbo (500% scale) LEGO bricks to snap together his 70-pound model.

After playing around with the insane 100,000 lumen Imalent MS-18 flashlight, the guys at The Hacksmith wanted to see if they could make something even brighter. Using 300 ultra-bright LEDs, they created a giant, blinding light that kicks out more than 1.4 million lumens. It isn’t particularly portable though.

The classic VW Beetle is not a big car, and that’s part of its charm. It’s also cramped. So a father and son duo decided to build themselves a super-sized bug that’s 40% larger than the original. They digitized every part of a 1959 Beetle, then upscaled them to create fabrication templates. Its chassis started as a Dodge truck.

Independence Day is nearly upon us, so it’s time to amp up the fireworks beyond the nightly booms of cherry bombs and M80s to something a little more spectacular. Maker Peter Sripol decided to see if he and his pal Sam could build oversize versions of two kinds of spinning fireworks displays, each powered by model rocket motors.

Help your keys go meta with this amusing oversized key keychain. It won’t unlock anything, but will keep your other keys in check. Studio Cult’s laughably large key is made from a lightweight goldtone metal, and measures 4″ in length.

Ever since seeing The Sword of Exact Zero in The LEGO Movie, swordsmith Michael Cthulhu has contemplated making a larger-than-life X-Acto knife blade. With a sponsor in hand for his video, he finally took the time to make his cutting tool for giants a reality. He’s auctioning it off for charity to help save animals from Australia’s fires.

One of the cooler LEGO parts out there is the stud shooter, a tiny weapon for minifigs that fires a single round stud. LEGO fan agepbiz decided to see if he could supersize the plaything into something humans could wield, and managed to pull it off with aplomb. He previously made a human-scale LEGO space blaster.

After his meat-loving pal asked him if he could have something other than a cake for his birthday, Tasty’s Alvin Zhou decided to make a 30-pound burger, complete with a beautifully-toasted brioche bun, layered with cheddar and american cheese, lettuce, and tomato.

The Q decided to see if he could build a larger-than-life version of a paper airplane that actually can fly. To pull off the build of his 122-inch long airplane, he ended up using polystyrene foam and glue, so it’s not exactly paper, but he scores points for airworthiness.

A look at the ginormous Antonov An-225 Mriya jumbo jet as it came in for a landing at Oakland International Airport. Apparently, the massive airplane was hired by the US Government to pick up typhoon relief supplies bound for Guam, and had to stop to refuel on its way from Kiev.
