Awesome Freddy Krueger

In the lead-up to Halloween, Nike is showing off a new pair of Air Max 95 sneakers inspired by Nightmare on Elm Street’s iconic villain. Its color scheme references Freddy Kreuger’s iconic sweater, while blood drips in back and spatters under its air cushions drive home the horror in a surprisingly subtle way.

Kidrobot’s Halloween treat is a collection of spooky but still cute plushies based on Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, Itchy, Scratchy and undead versions of the Simpsons family.

There’s a nightmare in the Outworld tournament – a living nightmare. Wes Craven’s classic horror character enters Shao Kahn’s tournament, glove-mounted razors and hellish powers in tow.

The Summer collection at Electric Zombie was just released and there some fun nostalgic pieces in it, including this splatter hoodie which reminds us of a certain someone from Elm Street. Ah, memories.

With the reboot of Nightmare on Elm Street headed to theaters on 4/30, we’re finally getting to see what Jackie Earle Haley’s Freddy Krueger face (and claws) look like – and it sure ain’t pretty.
