The follow-up to Naughty Dog’s outstanding post-apocalyptic FPS The Last of Us won’t be available until February 21, 2020, but it looks like it’ll be worth the wait, with plenty of bone-chilling cinematic scenes, dark storylines, and tension-filled gameplay.

“We lost.” Master Chief reawakens to a world in the middle of a massive war, following the events of Halo 5: Guardians. Halo Infinite will launch holiday 2020 on Windows 10, Xbox One, and the next-gen Xbox Series X console.

(PG-13: Language, Gore) A heist goes horribly wrong for the lead character of Cyberpunk 2077 in the game’s latest cinematic trailer. But hope is not lost, not when Keanu freakin’ Reeves is on your side. The game comes out in September 2020.

Splitgate is an upcoming free-to-play first-person multiplayer arena shooter in the vein of Halo. Except it has portals, which work exactly like the ones in Portal, adding a world of strategy and frantic fun to the genre. Launches 5/22/19 on Steam.

This gameplay video for Borderlands 3 starts with a leisurely tour through some of the game’s varied locales, then ramps up to showcase the colorful and deadly enemies, and the weapons and vehicles you’ll have to survive. There’s even a squirt gun that cools down your other gun.

Science fiction meets the occult in Moons of Madness. The first-person horror game is about a technician on a base on Mars, which was established to look for the source of an intelligent signal. But soon all hell breaks loose. Coming to PC, Xbox One and PS4.

The king of looter shooters is back. Borderlands 3 sees heroes from the past games return to defend “worlds”, and frag a diverse array of enemies with over a billion guns. The previous games are also getting 4K remasters for PC, Xbox One and PS4.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is coming to Windows via the Microsoft Store and Steam. The collection will be released in parts, and consists of Halo: Reach, Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo 4. The games will support 60fps, 4K and HDR.

Ready or Not is a first-person tactical shooter that focuses on realism. You play as a SWAT officer armed with both lethal and non-lethal tools. It will have a story mode, co-op and PVP multiplayer modes, and an intriguing commander mode where you direct A.I.

A 9+ min gameplay video for the first-person shooter Rage 2. The video showcases some of the game’s quirky and powerful weapons, as well as tools, movement and platforming abilities. You also get a look at the game’s seamless open world. The game drops 5/14/19.

Ahoy resumes his engaging series on firearms with the MP40. Created in Nazi Germany, this submachine gun became both a symbol of evil and rebellion in pop culture. Despite its brief real world usage, it has become one of the most recognizable guns in shooters.

Apex Legends is a free-to-play first-person shooter for Windows, Xbox One and PS4 that combines Overwatch and battle royale games. Its characters have different abilities and personalities, while its revive and one-button communication mechanics foster team play.

(Gore) Developer Mundfish gives us a peek at the world and aesthetics of its first-person action RPG Atomic Heart. There are strange robots, floating chickens and murderous androids in this alternate Soviet Union. It’s at once terrifying and intriguing.

(Gore) The latest installment in the post-apocalyptic first-person survival horror series, Metro Exodus puts you in the shoes of Artyom, a sniper who discovers that there is life beyond their hovels in the Moscow subway. Drops 2/15/19 for Windows, Xbox One and PS4.

From Obisidian, the developer of Fallout: New Vegas, comes a first-person RPG set in the future and in a space colony, like Mass Effect meets Fallout. The Outer Worlds appears to feature everything we loved about New Vegas. Drops 2019 for Windows, Xbox One, and PS4.

(PG-13: Language) The post-apocalypse looks lively and colorful in Far Cry New Dawn. A standalone sequel to Far Cry 5, the game takes place 17 years after a nuclear apocalypse, and sees you trying to take down the Highwaymen and their leaders, the Twins.

Void Bastards is a cel-shaded first person shooter from Blue Manchu, the developer behind Card Hunter. In Void Bastards, you hop from ship to ship and scavenge for resources. Die and you lose your progress, save for the items you’ve crafted.

It’s high noon. Overwatch‘s sharpshooting bounty hunter gets his time to shine in Blizzard’s latest animated short film. He cases a train heist, hoping to retrieve a special crate inside. But someone got there first, and it’s an old friend of his.

Currently on Early Access, World War 3 is a multiplayer military FPS for Windows. Its focus is on providing realistic battlegrounds, weapons, strategies and offering players tons of customization options for weapons, skins, camos, vehicles, gear and more.

Project Warlock is heavily inspired by the old school first person shooters such as Doom, Hexen and Wolfenstein. It’s filled with 60 levels filled with narrow corridors, demons and tons of weapons to unlock. Your character’s stats and spellcasting also improve.

(PG-13: Language) Videogamedunkey seems to be having a lot of fun with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. What with the taser Roombas, the dogs, the sniping, the dual machine gunning, and the shielding. But not the assault rifling. Black Ops!

In our latest look at Call of Duty: Black Ops 4‘s battle royale mode, we get another glance at the largest CoD map ever made. Players will scavenge and battle over land, air and sea. Blackout will also have an area where you can fight waves of undead.
