Another musically matched trailer for upcoming loot & shoot Borderlands 2. Aside from the colorful carnage, the clip also has an intriguing surprise for those who’ve played the first game.

Despite the lack of hype behind it and its generic title, this third-person shooter is being commended by critics for its solid single-player campaign that refuses to glorify war and murder.

The guys at FatAwesome give us their IRL look at first-person shooters – from the perspective of the enemies. They really do seem to get a raw deal when you think about it.

We’re not sure if this scene from Far Cry 3 is just an in-game cinematic or a controlled sequence, but we’re willing to bet that the developers are trying to make their own sequel to Uncharted.

YouTuber ThereIsaCanal imagines gaming on Google’s AR glasses. We were expecting more use of the map and communication apps, but gaming on real-world locations is revolutionary enough.

Warfighter will put players in the shoes of Tier 1 Operators – elite soldiers from real world military forces – to take on “a real global threat, in real international locations, sponsored by real enemies.”

Gearbox Software’s “loot and shoot” FPS is back. Borderlands 2 will feature four new characters along with more guns, more abilities and more Claptrap antics. The game drops 09/18/12.
