It shall return. The 2017 F-150 Raptor will have a steel frame and an aluminum alloy body, making it weigh over 500lb less than the previous model. It will also have a 10-speed transmission and a – gasp! – 3.5L EcoBoost V6.
Ford has shelved the F-150 Raptor, so Hennessey opted for the 2015 Ford F-150 Supercrew 5.0L V8 (with the FX4 off-road package) and boosted it with an 8PSI supercharger, a high flow air induction system and upgraded fuel injectors.
