Awesome Ford Raptor

When it comes to high-horsepower, off-road-capable trucks, few vehicles can compete with the Ford F-150 Raptor R. This souped-up pickup packs a 700-horsepower, supercharged V8 engine, a Baja-tuned suspension, and massive all-terrain tires. We spent a week living with this impressive truck, including a day hooning around in sand dunes.

This bonkers Ford F-150 has a 5.2-liter supercharged V8 that cranks out 700 hp and 640 lb-ft. of torque. It’s built for high-speed desert driving and serious off-roading with 24″ coil springs and Advanced FOX Live Valve shocks. It rides on 37″ tires and offers 13.1″ of ground clearance with 13″ of front wheel travel and 14.1″ in back.

The Ranger Raptor is coming to the US and Europe, rocking a twin-turbo V6 making 392 hp and 430 lb-ft. torque stateside or 284 hp and 362 lb-ft. in Europe. Both are mated with a 10-speed automatic. It has FOX 2.5-inch internal bypass shocks, an active exhaust system, and is ready to conquer all terrain with power and confidence.

The redesigned F-150 Raptor is even more off-road capable. With a new five-link rear suspension, it has up to 15″ of wheel travel, next-gen active FOX shocks, a new active exhaust, and up to 37″ tires for high-speed desert travel. It has an upgraded 3.5L EcoBoost V6, a 10-speed automatic, and a 36-gal tank for 500+ miles between fill-ups.
