Awesome Ford Ranger

Ford’s perfectly-sized Ranger pickup gets a redesign for 2024, with updates for its XL, XLT and Lariat trims, and for the first time in the US, a Ranger Raptor. It’s available with a 2.3L I4 EcoBoost engine with 270 hp and 310 lb-ft. of torque, a 2.7L V6 with 315 hp and 400 lb-ft. of torque, or the Raptor’s 3.0L V6 with 405 hp and 430 lb-ft. of torque.

The Ranger Raptor is coming to the US and Europe, rocking a twin-turbo V6 making 392 hp and 430 lb-ft. torque stateside or 284 hp and 362 lb-ft. in Europe. Both are mated with a 10-speed automatic. It has FOX 2.5-inch internal bypass shocks, an active exhaust system, and is ready to conquer all terrain with power and confidence.

We may not have the Ranger Raptor here in the U.S. yet, so we’ll have to enjoy Ford’s the mid-size off-road truck from afar for now. It looks particularly great carved out of wood, as Woodworking Art shows off his impressive vehicle modeling skills yet again. We love how he incorporated the working suspension and steering.

Ford’s small truck gets a big upgrade, courtesy of Hennessey Performance. The 2.3L EcoBoost engine now makes 350 bhp and 385 lb-ft. torque. It also gets performance exhaust, a 4-inch suspension lift, BFGoodrich off-road tires, fender flares, a new front bumper, and more.

Headed to Asia/Pacific markets first (then hopefully the US), the off-road ready version of Ford’s baby pickup packs a 2.0L turbodiesel engine, a 10-speed gearbox, Fox shocks, upgraded rear suspension, increased ride height, all-terrain drive modes, and much more.
