Awesome Ford Mustang

LEGO worked with Ford to create this detailed replica set of a 1960s Ford Mustang. You can clearly see its big block V8, nitrous oxide tank, air scoop and 5-spoke rims. The set can be customized with the included supercharger, spoilers, exhaust pipes and license plates.

Ford’s most powerful street-legal car ever will pack a supercharged 5.2L flat-plane cranked V8 engine making “more than 700 hp.” It has a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, gigantic brake rotors, Magneride adaptive suspension, and can be lightweighted with a carbon track pack.

Russian startup Aviar is working on an electric coupe inspired by 1960’s Mustangs. The R67 will use two electric motors with a total output of 840 hp, allowing it to go from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.2s and reach 155 mph. Its target driving range is about 300 mi.

Donut Media looks at the evolution of Ford’s muscle car, with illustrations of some of the most notable versions of the Mustang, like the 1964 convertible, the Cobra, and the 2018 model, along with their growls. Also, there’s no way the GT350R weighs that much.

REC Watches hunts through salvage yards, searching for wrecked classic 1960s Ford Mustangs. They then transform found parts into amazing and unique handmade timepieces, incorporating design elements of the pony car’s dashboard, and even include the original VIN.

The new Mustang convertible gets all the same cool enhancements as the fastback version, and looks particularly brilliant in Ingot Silver with its top dropped. We can only imagine how good it sounds with that more powerful new 5.0L V8 and active exhaust.

Builders from LEGOLAND Florida Resort created this 1:1 scale model of an original 1964-1/2 Ford Mustang. There’s an underlying aluminum chassis, but it’s still incredible. It recently made its debut at the Mustang Club of America’s 40th Anniversary shindig.
