Chinese drone maker Ehang is working on an octocopter that can carry a person. In theory, you won’t need a license to ride the 184 because it pilots itself. It has a maximum altitude of about 1200ft., goes up to 60mph and lasts 23 min. per charge. Skip to 3:50.
THE BEST Flying
If you’ve ever wondered just how much stress an airplane can handle in turbulence, you’ll feel a whole lot better after you watch this test footage from Airbus as they push the wings and fuselage of their A350 XWB jet to the extreme. The water ingestion tests are amazing too.
Daredevils Yves Rossy and Vincent Reffet want to remind us that while we may not have hoverboards, we do have jetpacks. Watch as the two Jetmen fly in formation with an Emirates Airlines’ Airbus A380 over Dubai. Go behind the scenes of the impressive stunt here.
