Awesome Fighter

Phoenix Wright is just one of the new characters included in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, but he’ll be enough reason for fans to pick up the game, what with his unorthodox, yet appropriate moves.

From the makers of Bayonetta and Vanquish comes Anarchy Reigns, a “multiplayer brawler” featuring characters with fighting styles as distinct as their looks. Out Fall 2011 on Xbox 360 & PS3.

The game isn’t even out for another week, and we already have a preview of Galactus, the giant final boss you’ll encounter if you make it to the end of Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Good luck with all that.

This wacky game for the PlayStation Eye or Move puts your likeness into a cartoon fighter, then take on opponents by wildly gesticulating. We can’t decide if it looks stupid or fun – or stupid fun.

The Japanese exploding-creature-filled balls phenomenon is back with a brand new multi-player brawler for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, Nintendo DS and PSP. Hits consoles November 2010.

Other than a ton of spurting blood, and a protagonist named “Heinrich: Executioner of Witches,” we’re not sure what to make of Namco Bandai’s latest. Flows onto PS3 and Xbox 360 soon.
