(NSFW, Gore) We didn’t ask for this, but it’s a good thing Moe Charif made it anyway. An alt take on the events from the eponymous video game, the short film sees Adam barge into the Illuminati’s territory to rescue Megan.

A fan-made trailer for an updated variant of the 1979 classic The Warriors, set in LA in 1992. Shot by Ram Bhat, the clip perfectly captures the neon-tinged style of the era, while at the same time paying homage to Walter Hill’s original.
(NSFW: Language/Gore) An action-packed short based on Tomb Raider, though the heroine here is more of a Hostage Rescuer. It also stars the world’s dumbest hostages and the dreaded villain Captain Exposition. Great fight scenes though.
A live-action depiction of Ubisoft’s upcoming open world action adventure game Watch Dogs. Despite sometimes dodgy acting, Infectious Designer did a great job with the short. Aiden Pearce is the 21st century teenager’s idol.
(Gore) Dead Island didn’t live up to the hype it generated, but it did lead to Axis Animation’s awesome CGI trailer. Cinedrone Pictures pays homage to that gripping short with this live action shot-for-shot remake.
Blade Runner is frequently identified as an existential cyberpunk thriller, but like many modern works of art it falls under several categories. YouTuber Chet Desmond highlights the film’s noir facet with this wonderful trailer.
(NSFW: Language) A humorous Bioshock Infinite fan film starring Chris Hardwick and Chloe Dykstra, poking fun at Elizabeth’s annoying tendency to throw stuff at Booker at the least opportune moments.
(NSFW: Language) An ordinary tool becomes the stuff of legends in this tongue-in-cheek origin story of Gordon Freeman’s weapon of choice – the crowbar. The final scene doesn’t match the original, but it’s close enough.
Another Mortal Kombat tribute by Mike Diva which digs up the original Sub-Zero and Noob Saibot for a fight sequence that looks like it could have been plucked straight from the video game. Oh, and how about that fatality?
This terrifically shot Game of Thrones fan film by Von Wong and Five Knights Productions gives us insight into exactly what Benjen Stark might have encountered on his Nights’ Watch duties as he ventured North of the Wall. (Thanks Antoine!)
YouTuber Mr88668866 used clips from various superhero movies and the trailer for DC Universe Online to create a fan trailer for a bank-breaking blockbuster movie. Black Widow and her pistols look even more pitiful here.
With the return of the bland Henry Cavill as Superman and the potential disaster of Ben Affleck as Batman, perhaps the villain will be this movie’s savior. They should make an Iron Man vs. Lex Luthor movie instead.
Mario and Luigi find themselves in an underground Fight Smash Club, Princess Peach carries Donkey Kong, and for the last time, his name is Link, not Zelda in the latest episode of Beat Down Boogie’s Mario Warfare.
(Gore) A fan-made short film about Legate Lanius, one of the main antagonists in Fallout: New Vegas. It’s not without its problems – the fight scenes are either dizzying or sloppy – but it’ll be enjoyable to fans of the game.
The Dragonborn is weakened by a vampire’s curse. The Dark Brotherhood captures him and asks him to rescue one of their own from the Necromancers, promising to rid him of the curse as a reward. A well made short by Warialasky.
(NSFW: Language, Gore) A snippet of Joel and Ellie’s harrowing journey through the zombie invasion, presented in live action by Iron Horse Cinema Productions. The sound is slightly out of sync, but overall it’s very well executed.

Chase to Death is a great fan-made trailer for Dead Space. The storyline could go deeper, but overall it is a great reminder of what low-budget indie productions can do these days. Made by Z Pictures.
A 6-episode, live-action web series from the teams behind Beyond Black Mesa and Enter the Freeman, taking us deeper into the world of Half-Life than ever before. Support the project on Indiegogo.
The wise and brave demigoddess kicks Nazi butt in this Jesse V. Johnson’s fan trailer starring Nina Bergman. Nina’s got some cool moves, but we still wish she had a more sensible costume.
