Developed with Alpine, the Renault 5 Turbo 3E is a modern take on classic 1980s rally cars. The rear-wheel drive “mini-supercar” has two in-wheel motors that produce 540 hp and gobs of instant torque. The petite 2-seater rolls on 20″ wheels, with performance aerodynamics, sport seats, and a roll bar. Just 1980 will be made, with deliveries starting in 2027.

Toyota is showing off a high-performance sports car that brings back mid-engine MR2 memories. But the FT-Se runs on battery power and has electric motors. It has a sleek, aerodynamic design and can send tremendous amounts of torque to the rear wheels for serious drifting. Inside, it has a minimalist dashboard and an F1-style steering wheel.

Mercedes-Benz’s EQXX concept electric sedan aims to do away with range anxiety. The sleek and luxurious car has a target driving range of 620 mi or 1000 km thanks to reduced battery weight and aerodynamic efficiency. Other highlights include a solar roof for accessory charging and an ultra-wide digital dashboard.

Sporting sleek, concept car looks, the all-electric Ariya kicks off a new direction for Nissan. The crossover offers up to 389hp in its e-4ORCE AWD version, and up to 300 miles of range with its 90kWh battery. Its interior is modern and minimal, and offers tech like ProPILOT Assist 2.0, which enables hands-free highway driving.

Racer and stunt driver Ken Block shared this in-car footage from his first-ever time racing in the Dakar Rally. His vehicle? The prototype Extreme E Odyssey 21, a badass all-electric rally car that makes 550 hp and 679 lb-ft. of torque. It might be quiet, but it’s deceptively quick.
