Taking place after KH 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Kingdom Hearts III brings back the gang from the first game: Goofy, Donald, King Mickey and Sora, who’s now a teenager. The game will be released for the PS4 and the Xbox One.

An HD compilation for the PS3, KH HD 2.5 ReMIX includes KH II Final Mix and KH: Birth By Sleep Final Mix. It also has HD cinematics from KH Re:coded. It won’t be available until 2014, but KH HD 1.5 ReMIX is out now.

Another retro-infused original Disney Animated Short features Mickey Mouse courting Minnie with his yodeling. Unfortunately, they live right in an avalanche zone. We’re thrilled to see Disney revisit its classic cartoon roots again.

Disney’s upcoming Frozen is based on a Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale which involves a young girl on an mission to find her sister, whose icy powers have trapped their kingdom in eternal winter. (Thanks Ferdi!)

Mickey Mouse comes to Minnie’s rescue in Paris. This is the first of 19 animated shorts that Disney will release this year, all of which harken back to its art style and slapstick humor from the 30s.

It took Daniel Navarrete a year and over 30,000 individual photos to create this time-lapse video, but it does a great job sharing the experience of Disneyland – without having to wait in long lines.

Disney Research demonstrates an incredible advancement in touch-based control with Touché, a system capable of detecting touch and gestures on everyday objects, in liquids, and even on skin.

Bryan Boyce infuses Scorsese’s classic with a little shot of Disney, through the use of clever editing and visual tweaks to the explicit original. The ending is particularly clever (and accurate.)
