Awesome Die-cast

Yolopark’s upcoming Transformers G1 action figures are way too good for their price. The AMK Pro Series Optimus Prime and Megatron action figures have sweet battle-damaged paint jobs on their metal and plastic parts. They’re both about 8″ tall and come with lighting effects, weapon accessories, and a display stand.

There are lots of collectibles based on the DeLorean DMC-12 from Back to the Future, but Tomy has the most accurate replica yet. Their 1:10-scale die-cast metal time machine measures 17″ long, has working interior and exterior lighting, gullwing doors, and even emits smoke from its rear fins. Early birds can save $100 off what is likely to be a pricey toy.

Inspired by the iconic logo of J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions comes an awesome collectible toy of the little red robot with the spring sticking out of its head. The die-cast and plastic action figure has 24 points of articulation, and the back of its head opens to reveal the inner workings of the Bad Robot’s mind.

This awesome 1/8th-scale metal model from Eaglemoss’ Die-Cast Club is a perfect replica of the iconic Eleanor Mustang from Gone in 60 Seconds. The finished car measures 22.9″ long and weighs 17.6 lb, and is quite the investment of time and money, with its parts arriving in small kits which arrive over the course of 27 months.

Tamashii Nations envisions Pac-Man as a Chogokin mech. Made from a mix of ABS plastic and die-cast metal, the 4″ tall dot-gobbling machine has a metallic skin and can launch flying punches to help ward off ghosts. His flip-top head opens to reveal the real Pac-Man at the controls inside the mech. Drops Fall 2021.
