Builder and destroyer of things Giaco Whatever shows off his custom-made Airsoft weapon, which is designed to launch ammo at a ridiculous rate of fire. Here, he amps up the pressure, and launches a barrage of metal BBs at various objects, pretty much vaporizing them.

This video from the Hydraulic Press Channel isn’t there to prove the strength of the press or the objects it faces. It’s more like those old David Letterman bits where he tossed stuff off of a 5-story tower, and purely there to make as big of a mess as possible.

The Slow Mo Guys follow up an earlier video in which Dan managed to get everything but his head inside a giant water balloon. This time, he managed to get all the way inside of it before popping it in front of their high speed Phantom Flex 4K camera at 1000 fps.

Celluloid ping pong balls are known to be highly flammable, so there’s no wonder that this tube full of the balls goes up in a spectacular blaze of glory when subjected to the intense heat of carsandwater’s killer Red Hot Nickel Ball.

After showing off the MegaBot Mk. III robot at Maker Faire 2017, the guys from MegaBots decided to play around with something they had lying around the shop – a 500 lb., 10-foot-long knife, and proceeded to drop it into the roof of a car. Because, why not?

Joerg Sprave first shows off how LEGO bricks can become far more nasty by turning them into mouth-blown air darts, then builds a “scientific test device” so he can then fire the projectiles at supersonic speeds with a powerful air compressor.

Oh the humanity! After spending an inordinate amount of time assembling this model of a F1 race car out of matchsticks, builder The Q burns it to the ground in seconds. It’s at once deliciously satisfying and totally wrong.

One of the cooler LEGO Technic kits out there is the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. It’s simply stunning. But that didn’t stop the guys from c’t Magazine from taking theirs and smashing it into a wall, with the help of the German automotive safety group ADAC and their crash test facility.

When The Slow Mo Guys team up with Blue Man Group, you know they’re going to make a mess of epic proportions. That’s exactly what they did in this extended length video, as they used bowling balls to wreak as much havoc as possible in front of a high-speed camera.

(PG-13: Language) The Beyond the Press channel teamed up with Sons of Explosions to make a big mess. They took a vat full of cornstarch and water – also known as the non-newtonian goo called “oobleck,” and blew it up real good to see how it behaved. Skip to 3:28.

The Backyard Scientist has outdone himself with his latest experiment. He built himself a gigantic replica of a mousetrap. The spring-loaded mechanism can demolish stuff at speeds up to 42 mph. We’d just hate to see the mouse this thing was designed for.

If you’ve ever gotten a paper cut, you know how sharp the edge of a sheet of the stuff can actually be. The Q shows us how rapidly spinning a disc of paper on an angle grinder can turn it into a circular saw. Needless to say, keep all fingers and toes away from this thing.

The Slow Mo Guys filmed air pistol pellets being shot through deodorant sticks. The projectile is so fast, even viewing it at 120,000fps isn’t that satisfying. But at least we found out that you can both be invincible at airsoft and smell good with just one thick vest.

After discovering the hydraulic crimping machines at Lillbacka Powerco, the guys from Beyond the Press decided to subject a whole bunch of balls to the deadly force of one of these impressive machines. The rubber band ball was particularly satisfying.

The guys at Photonicinduction like to apply way too much current to items. In their latest experiment, they overpowered the electric fan from a car’s radiator, turning it into an impromptu drone before its motor ultimately met its maker.

Master of destruction Giaco Whatever teamed up with master of drone Mr. Steele, and attached a razor-sharp blade to one of his quadcopters. Steele then flew the deadly beast straight at some fruits and veggies. It slices, it dices. It even makes julienne fries!

During a recent Top Gear bit, Matt LeBlanc turned his attention from cars and interviews to wanton destruction – pushing watermelons, a shed, and an entire Volvo through a Bunning Lowlander Widebody 380HD – a piece of machinery designed for spreading mulch.

The guys from the Hydraulic Press Channel took a momentary break from crushing stuff with their press, and dropped by Lillbacka Powerco to play with their Finn-Power crimping machine, which is capable of crushing small objects from all sides with 320 tons of force.

The Beyond the Press channel raises the stakes (and steaks) against the old Red Hot Nickel Ball folks, heating up a cube of tungsten to over 3000º C (~5432º F), then uses it to quickly cook some meat and take on a shockingly resiliant watermelon.

It’s just an inanimate object, but there’s something about the shape and fleshy consistency of this frankfurter being snapped in twain by a mousetrap that will make you cringe. Warped Perception captured the carnage at up to 147,000 fps to drag out the pain.

(PG-13: Language) While it’s fun to watch the deadly hydraulic press smush soft items, it’s far more satisfying to see it take on things that you’d think would be indestructible – like this metal vice. But it makes quick work of this and a few other random items in their latest video.

The Hacksmith dusted off the real metal Wolverine claws he made a few years back, then connected them to a 12-volt car battery. The result – lots of sparks, molten steel wool, shredded aluminum foil, and the coolest way to start a fire ever.
