Motowear and workwear brand SA1NT doesn’t just make tough denim. It created the world’s first single-layer, CE-rated denim made from Dyneema polyethylene yarn, the world’s strongest fiber. Spun like cotton, the jeans look and feel like regular denim while protecting against abrasions to literally save your skin.

Levi’s and Outerknown’s Wellthread denim trucker jacket comes in a “whitecaps” colorway, where the denim is left undyed. This saves up to 70% of the water used in denim finishing. There’s also a pair of 511 slim jeans with a similar finish.

Tokyo-based brand Bedwin & The Heartbreakers remakes its Cassidy jacket in lightweight and washed Japanese denim. It has a detachable hood, a corduroy-lined collar, nice contrast stitching and a shaggy felt lining.

Mosevic creates its sunglass frames using resin-coated layers of denim, gathered from discarded and damaged jeans. The end result is not only a stunning design, but a great statement on sustainability. Each comes with quality Zeiss polarized lenses.

Clothing shop Flint and Tinder will be launching a made-to-order denim jeans service. You’ll be able to pick the denim, fit and size of your jeans. You can also customize your jeans’ buttons, rivets, label and print.

McMacular jeans are made of a suede cotton twill and lined with Mulberry silk which works to both cool you down on a hot day and warm you up when it’s cold out. We can’t confirm this but we can say that silk in our jeans sounds amazing.
