Awesome Deadpool

The most awesome scene-stealer in Marvel Studio’s Deadpool & Wolverine movie has a seriously messed up face and slobbers something awful. No, it’s not Ryan Reynolds, and certainly not Hugh Jackman. It’s a canine co-star named Peggy who won Britain’s Ugliest Dog Competition. And she has her own Instagram account: @dogpool.

Hasbro is capitalizing on the success of Deadpool and Wolverine by bringing back the Merc with a Mouth’s disembodied toy. The Deadpool Interactive Head moves, squints, and talks in response to sound. Its mobile app lets you access its full array of over 600 phrases, voiced by none other than… Nolan North. Hey, he was Deadpool before Ryan Reynolds!

(PG-13: Language) Deadpool needs a helping hand, and the only person who might be able to save the day is Logan aka Wolverine. But before they can partner up, they need to hug it out the only way they know how – with their katanas and adamantium claws drawn.

Wade Wilson is trying to live a normal life once again. But it’s hard for any superhero to hang up their costume. Eventually, Wade finds himself pulled into not only a quest to save the multiverse, but to save the Marvel Cinematic Universe from itself. Then Logan shows up with his adamantium claws. In theaters 7.26.2024.

With news that Deadpool 3 will bring the character to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, TortillaDelta13 couldn’t wait for the movie to come out. So they got to work editing footage of Ryan Reynolds’ snarky hero into scenes from The Avengers and other MCU flicks as Nick Fury’s gun-for-hire to take down Loki.

Deadpool 2 is headed back to the theaters for the holidays… as a PG-13 movie. Ryan Reynolds agreed to it on two conditions: that a portion of the proceeds went to charity, and that he got to kidnap Fred Savage and force him to reenact his role from The Princess Bride.

ThinkGeek offers some tasteful merchandise for fans of the Merc with a Mouth. The officially licensed Deadpool Glitch Flannel shirt has a button-up chest pocket, a Deadpool patch on the left hip, and a screenprint of Deadpool’s mask on the buck.

Fans of the Merc with a Mouth will get their own chance to be inappropriate with this decidedly adult card game. The objective is to match up pictures of Deadpool in compromising positions with fill-in-the-blank caption cards for the biggest laugh.

“It started as an idea – what if we made a Deadpool movie?” Ryan Reynolds continues the hype train for Deadpool 2 by copying Marvel Studios’ 10th year anniversary video. In a way, he’s almost right – X-Men Origins: Wolverine came out in 2009.

Hot Toys’ new Deadpool action figure comes with a ton of humor, accessories and exchangeable parts, including a pair of high heels referencing the music video for Celine Dion’s song for Deadpool 2. It also comes with a unicorn doll and an X-Men trainee jersey.

Yep, that’s Deadpool, in heels, dancing beside Celine Dion. The Merc with a Mouth definitely got a larger budget for Deadpool 2, and he probably spent all of it on this one. Watch the two sing and Flashdance to one of the original cuts from the movie’s soundtrack.

Feel the rainbow. Kidrobot rides on the hype of Deadpool 2 with this silly plush toy. Not only is it huge at 16″ tall, the plush toy sees Deadpool riding a unicorn and has a vibrating pack. It requires three AA batteries.

(PG-13: Language) The Merc with a Mouth assembles his team, gives Cable a classic gamer move and breaks fourth walls and his body in the final trailer for Deadpool 2. It would’ve been neat if he actually had a LinkedIn account.
