Awesome Cybertruck

When Tesla first announced the Cybertruck, the guys at Hacksmith Industries got to work building a working half-scale model of the stainless steel electric pickup truck. They recently revisited their vehicle and upgraded it with remote control and self-driving capabilities. After programming it, they challenged it to drive through an obstacle course.

The Tesla Cybertruck is expensive and hard to come by. Steven Song and his buddies figured they could solve both problems by building their version of the vehicle. Only this cursed Cybertruck rolls on tank treads, has a weapon system, and is constructed almost entirely from stuff they found in a junkyard.

Say what you will about the Tesla Cybertruck; Elon Musk’s chunky and funky electric truck has given us countless memes and fan-built projects to enjoy. ND – Woodworking Art’s metal-framed, wood-covered vehicle is a roughly 1/2-scale replica of the truck. It runs on battery power like the real deal and has room in its bed for his kid’s mini Cyberquad.

We’re still not sure when Tesla’s Cybertruck will go into production but starting 10.15.21 at 9am PT, you’ll be able to grab Mattel Creations’ miniature, which snaps together from 3000 pieces. The model of Elon Musk’s angular electric truck measures about 18″ long once assembled, and comes complete with smashed windows.
