In this short video from Posy, he shows off a neat visual effect that takes ordinary footage and highlights solely the parts that move. The resulting footage is artful and reveals aspects of each scene that might otherwise be overlooked. Best of all, Posy shows us how easy it is to replicate the effect yourself.

The LEGO How We Create deck was created by builders, designers, and other LEGO team members to help inspire creative thought. It includes 78 cards featuring images of LEGO bricks, quotes, and building prompts. The deck is divided into five categories – Motivation, Inspiration, Memories & Mentors, Challenges & Obstacles, and LEGO Core Values.

MTB photographer Sterling Lorence walks us through his efforts to capture the perfect shot. When you sit down to work on an art or design project, there are so many different directions you could take it in. Chico Jofilsan’s animated short film uses itself to illustrate the seemingly endless possibilities which emerge during the creative process, and how one might make choices.

“They’re like little actors who only ever get to play one role…” Ainslie Henderson’s stop-motion short is an exploration of what makes an artist’s mind tick, as he explains his inspiration, and crafts rudimentary, yet highly-expressive characters using found objects.
