Honda made the sporty little Prelude from 1977 to 2001. Now, the Japanese automaker is bringing back the coupe as a hybrid-electric. Honda has yet to reveal specs for the sporty 2-door, but we have some early teaser images and word that it will have a mysterious new feature called “Honda S+ Shift.” The car looks great – now we’re dying to know its performance specs.

Jaguar teases the shape of things to come with a concept coupe fit for the red carpet. The powerful electric Type 00 Concept has butterfly doors, and a long hood and short rear that subtly nods to the E-Type. Its strikingly minimalist interior incorporates travertine, woven textiles, and brass. While not planned for production, Jaguar has a 4-door GT in store for late 2025.

Genesis is on a roll. The impressive, progressive Korean brand has swept awards — biggies like Car and Designer of The Year — for two years running. After getting an advance look at Genesis’ next crowd-pleaser — the 2025 GV80, the brand’s first crossover coupe — we’re astonished that they continue to make all the right moves.

Aston Martin bids farewell to its DBS coupe with its fastest and most powerful variant. The V12-powered DBS 770 Ultimate makes 759 hp, zooms from 0-to-62 mph in 3.4 sec, and has a top speed of 211 mph. It’s seen upgrades to its transmission, steering, suspension, and frame, and it rolls on some of the best-looking wheels ever.

Genesis swept the 2022 iF Design Awards, winning four honors: three for Product Design and one for Interior Architecture. Then they topped themselves by unveiling the most jaw-dropping concept car of the NY Auto Show: the X Speedium Coupe, a streamlined preview of the Korean automaker’s next wave of luxury EVs.

Ferrari’s mid-front-engined coupe has some seriously sexy lines, with a nod to classic Ferraris of the 1950s and 1960s. It packs a 3.8-liter turbo V8 that makes 611 hp and 560 lb-ft. of torque, and can zoom from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.4 seconds as it heads to a 199+ mph top speed. Its rear profile is especially lovely.

The coupe variant of Jaguar’s hot sportster has all of the style of the convertible, but with an aluminum or panoramic glass roof. Choose a 340hp V6, 380hp supercharged V6 or a massive 550hp 5.0L V8, 55hp more than the current V8.

The RC takes much of what we liked about the 2014 IS series and packs it into a dynamic and sporty 2-door coupe. Available as the RC 350 with a 3.5L V6 and the RC 300h, a hybrid with a 2.5L 4. We’re hoping for an F-Sport edition too.

In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Sport quattro, Audi created this striking 21st century update, with a hybrid drivetrain powered by a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 and 110kW motor for 700hp combined. Hits 60 in just 3.7secs.
