Early pigments were made from natural materials like minerals, plants, and even animals. Connor Creates thought it would be interesting to see if he could make paints using rocks. After selecting some stones that looked somewhat colorful, he crushed them into a powder, then added it to a binding agent made from water, honey, and gum arabic.

Cardboard isn’t exactly a conventional material for a sword. But with enough resin, pretty much any material can become rigid enough to be used as a weapon. Is there really a reason to walk around wearing pineapples on your feet? Apparently so. After hearing that pineapple skins are fireproof, Connor Creates decided to put that to the test by making a pair of shoes out of the spiky tropical fruits. Along the way, he tested other fruits to see how well they held up to fire.
