Designed around “Effortless Performance,” the mid-rear–engine concept blends luxury with motorsport intent, race-car proportions, track-level aero, and a planted, wide stance.

Nissan is showing off this customized Armada SUV at the 2025 SEMA Show. The build transforms the full-size SUV into a desert-conquering support rig inspired by the Nissan Patrol’s racing heritage. Based on the PRO-4X, it gets a custom long-travel CJD Racing suspension with 16 inches of travel, 37-inch Yokohama Geolandar tires, and prototype NISMO beadlock wheels.

Lexus turned up at the The Quail event at Pebble Beach 2025 with a stunning vision for a performance car. Lexus Sport Concept features a sleek, aerodynamic design that looks incredible from every angle. Lexus is mum on its technical specs, but with a V8-powered LFR already in development, it’s rumored that the Sport Concept has an all-electric drivetrain.

Audi Q6 e-tron Offroad Concept

This special version of the Audi Q6 e-tron crossover has been equipped for challenging off-road trails and rally-style winter driving. It features a 6.3″ suspension lift, massive 33″ studded tires, unique LED lighting, a tubular roof rack, and Audi’s electric quattro all-wheel drivetrain. Unique portal axles increase torque dramatically, enabling it to climb a 45º gradient.

Honda 0 Saloon and Honda 0 SUV Prototypes

Honda arrived at CES 2025 with a pair of EV prototypes slated for production in 2026. Both the Honda 0 Saloon and SUV will offer Level 3 automated driving and will be powered by an integrated computer running Honda’s new ASIMO OS. While specs have yet to be revealed, both will offer at least 300 miles of range, fast charging, and vehicle-to-home connectivity.

Jaguar teases the shape of things to come with a concept coupe fit for the red carpet. The powerful electric Type 00 Concept has butterfly doors, and a long hood and short rear that subtly nods to the E-Type. Its strikingly minimalist interior incorporates travertine, woven textiles, and brass. While not planned for production, Jaguar has a 4-door GT in store for late 2025.

Kia brought two adventurous concept vehicles to the 2024 SEMA Show. The EV9 ADVNTR is a rugged take on the awesome EV9, with all-terrain tires, a 3″ lift, reinforced rocker panels, and a custom roof rack. The PV5 WKNDR is a nifty electric camper van. It’s ready for overlanding on rough terrain and offers a modular live-work space, a popup roof tent, and solar panels.

This concept car from Lotus offers a glimpse into the future of the UK sports car maker. The Theory 1 envisions a futuristic sports coupe that’s designed to enhance the connection between the driver and the road. The three-seater has a unique folding door system and inflatable fabric that provides haptic feedback through the steering wheel and seats.

French automaker Renault collaborated with designer Ora Ïto to create a retro-modern take on a 1970s classic car. This fantastic electric restomod of an R17 sports coupe features a new grille design with low-profile quad beam headlamps, a skinny horizontal tail lamp, and a mod interior. Those wheels that look like they’re always in motion are amazing.

Creating metal parts for cars requires massive industrial stamping machines or labor-intensive hand-shaping. Desktop Metal’s Figur G15 machine can precisely shape sheet metal using a computer-controlled ball tool. In this video, car builder Rob Ida uses the Figur to craft parts to help realize Preston Tucker’s never-built Carioca concept car. (Thanks, Rob!)

The 2+2 drop-top offers an interior filled with hand-cut wood veneers, a 55″ pillar-to-pillar display, and an electric drivetrain. Slathered in a buttery Manilla Cream color based on a color from the 1950s.

Genesis is teasing a new Magma performance vehicle line. The closest to production-ready is the GV60 Magma, a souped-up version of their electric crossover with upgraded aerodynamics and cooling, a wider, lower stance, and 21-inch wheels with integrated brake cooling. Inside, it has bucket sport seats with Nappa and suede leather, and body-colored seatbacks.

Chrysler looks to the future with the Halcyon Concept. The battery-electric sedan has a sleek, aerodynamic design and a minimalistic cockpit. The vehicle showcases three of Stellantis‘ next-gen technologies: STLA Brain, SmartCockpit, and AutoDrive, working in concert to improve driving experiences, whether with a human pilot or in self-driving modes.
