Awesome Comic-con

Photographer Patrick Goelz headed to this year’s San Diego Comic-Con on a mission to capture the coolest costumes and other highlights of the show. His colorful 4K cosplay reel is crystal clear and makes it feel like we’re right there on the show floor among the cosplayers and other show attendees. Which was your favorite costume?

It’s been a while since Sneaky Zebra have attended New York Comic-Con, but they made it this year and shot this great video featuring some of the best cosplayers strutting their stuff. It’s one of the few spots where you can catch She-Hulk, Din Djarin, Doctor Strange, and Buzz Lightyear in the same place… except Disney+.

(Spoilers) This pre-battle scene from a Vikings episode in the final half of season six gives away the big secret from the mid-season finale’s cliffhanger. It involves Ivan the Boneless, his brother Hvitserk, Oleg of Novgorod, and his nephew… and the identity of a mysterious horseman. Vikings’ final season ends this fall on The History Channel.

To follow up on his awesome superhero suit from last year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Conan O’Brien teamed up with West Coast Customs to create a very special vehicle for his alter ego to fight crime in. We suppose it’s only fitting the car had to be pushed onto the stage.

Aside from dressing up as The Revenant‘s bear, Adam Savage also toured the San Diego Comic-Con with Anovos’ officially licensed Kylo Ren costume, which apparently weighs 10lb excluding the helmet. It looks badass though, as a $3,100 costume should.

Conan O’Brien worked his butt off during this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. Here, we see how he ends one of his long days, as he heads back to his hotel, takes off his his robe and jewels, and then reveals his true form.

Every year, Adam Savage likes to walk the aisles of San Diego Comic-Con dressed in costume to see if he can people from recognizing him. This year, he decided to go with a look inspired by The Revenant, and dressed as a lifelike bear.

Conan‘s San Diego Comic-Con live show kicked off with a parody of 2016’s hero vs. hero movies. We’re sad they missed out on forming superteams with Jordan Schlansky, Triumph and the Golden State Warriors.

Collectible toy and apparel maker Super7 is behind the making of the first official He-Man and the Masters of the Universe cartoon since 1985. If this teaser is anything to go by, they nailed the look. It screens at SDCC on 7/20/16, and then hits iTunes and Google Play 8/1.

Pam and Krieger are dressed up and ready to go to the San Diego Comic-Con, but Archer thinks he’s above all the fans and the geeky stuff they love. Watch him trash talk Mad Max, Ant-Man, Batman v Superman and more.

Instead of spoiling any scenes from Star Wars: Episode VII at this year’s Comic-Con, the studio shared this wonderful footage of the film’s return to practical effects, real sets, and the joy and reverence of the cast and crew. (Thanks Paul!)
