(PG-13: Language) “Stir the sandwich… and slice the tea.” A woman answers her phone only to be met with demands from a mysterious caller lurking in the shed in her backyard. Francis Higgins and Viper Films poke fun at a classic horror film trope in this silly, but absolutely perfect little skit.

Ali Ali’s silly commercial envisions a world where Egyptian bakery company Edita is struggling to move its HoHos snack cakes, and how one clever employee comes up with a simple design change to send sales through the roof. We wonder what these could these guys do to sell more Twinkies.

(PG-13: Language) An awkward and socially-inept woman invites a girlfriend over for a sleepover, but we quickly discover their friendship isn’t real, and things take quite an unexpected turn. Carlyn Hudson’s dark comedy short film could easily be the premise for an episode of Black Mirror.

A couple finds themselves having difficulty connecting while quarantined apart, as they struggle to figure out if it’s their relationship that’s falling apart, or just their internet connection. Dogfood’s sketch offers a humorous look at one of the many challenges of dating in today’s world.

(PG-13: Language) Eli Shapiro’s short film about a guy and his childhood friend is filled with uncomfortable moments, yet is completely relatable for anyone who’s ever had a “friend” who was so obnoxious, but you couldn’t get rid of them. Actors Sean Brannon and Will Cooper’s great chemistry is revealed mostly through improv.

We honestly have no idea what to say after watching Quentin Smirhes‘ absurdist music video about a guy who thinks he’s a “chooka” train, but all we knew was we had to share it with the rest of the world immediately. Perhaps we’ve been hypnotized into doing it. Enjoy the source material here.

Two men find themselves at the wrong end of the long arm of the law. As they make a break for it into the woods, they question the decision that changed everything. Kevin James continues to prove his sketch comedy chops with perfect use of dramatic tension and a solid punchline. Filmed by the Kinnane Brothers.

Comedian James Veitch walks us through a gameplay tutorial for “Lockdown! The Game!” an entirely too appropriate card game about being stuck at home during a pandemic. While the game doesn’t actually exist, we’re pretty sure he’d sell millions if he did a crowdfunding campaign right now. We love the tiny toilet paper rolls.

Anyone in a serious relationship knows that communication and compromise are key to a fruitful partnership. Comedian Stevie Emerson envisions a conversation with his girlfriend is much like the business negotiations on an episode of Shark Tank. We’re just really glad he’s not dating Kevin O’Leary.

There’s nothing funny about dying. But that didn’t stop Dogfood from making this seriously morbid comedy sketch that makes fun of people who try to find something positive to say when they found out a friend lost a loved one.
