Awesome Colin Furze

Colin Furze made a steampunk bedside lamp that you wouldn’t want anywhere near your bed. It’s a lamp that’s powered by a chainsaw engine, which is connected to a generator. It even has a throttle so he can rev up the light.

Colin Furze made his son the coolest kid on the block by modifying the kid’s scooter with an electric jet engine. But don’t worry, Furze restrained his inner madman this time. The scooter is just powerful enough to move the kid from a standstill.

“If this thing is even remotely rideable… I will be shocked.” Punmaker and stuffmaker Colin Furze’s latest crazy creation is a bicycle that has a frame made out of giant springs instead of standard tubes. It’s a stupid, nonsensical, and impractical build, and that’s why we love it.

Inventor and builder Colin Furze teamed up with eBay for a crazy challenge – to construct a working replica of Tony Stark’s Hulkbuster armor using only components purchased from the auction site. Not only did Colin succeed, he excelled. Build videos here and here.

Colin Furze continues what he started. After last year’s life-size AT-ACT, the mad inventor once again scoured eBay for parts to build a life-size model of a Star Wars vehicle. This time it’s Kylo Ren’s ride, the TIE Silencer. The model is on display at Burghley House until 12/10/17.

Because it wouldn’t be a Colin Furze invention if it’s not motorized, the mad engineer strapped a paraglider’s powerful engine to his already crazy 360º swing. It wasn’t strong enough to throw him off, but we’re pretty sure it made him throw up.

“I get motion sickness, I don’t particularly like heights, and I don’t like going upside down.” Regardless of his feelings, madman inventor Colin Furze built himself an insane swing that lets him flip all the way up and over to a height of more than 31 feet.

Unless you’re a dog, there’s not too much to get excited about when it comes to door bells. But leave it to madman Colin Furze to figure out a way to build a door bell system bonkers enough to get his attention even when he’s working on one of his jet engine projects.

Colin Furze adds to his DIY X-Men gizmos this portable liquid nitrogen pack. Along with a palm-mounted nozzle, it allows him to chill and freeze objects on the go. If there’s anyone who can will make Bobby Drake’s ice slides, it’s this guy.

The mad inventor Colin Furze celebrated having 3 million subscribers (and counting) by setting off 58 boxes of fireworks, each with 87 shots, all at once. The only appropriate response to the result is to wish everyone a Happy New Year.
