It’s always fun to celebrate the holidays with a classic Christmas carol. But we bet you’ve never heard Jingle Bells performed Mongolian style. Thanks to the Altai Band, now you can, complete with traditional Mongolian instruments and throat singing.

We already think that Kevin McAllister’s deadly booby traps in Home Alone should have been enough to land him in juvy, but as LegalEagle points out, Kevin’s battery charges are only the tip of the law-breaking iceberg in the holiday classic.

Team Coco dug up this holiday classic from the 12/23/1993 episode of Late Night with Conan O’Brien, in which our lovable host let some children sit on his lap and asked them what they wanted for Christmas. Of course, their requests were a little different than the usual video games, dolls, and footballs.

Ritzy Animation’s amusing short film follows the journey of a down-on-his-luck Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer after he’s retired from Santa’s crew. But Rudy gets inspired to clean up his act, and again become the powerful sled-puller he once was. Naturally, there’s a training montage.

Celebrate the holidays with some Slayer, courtesy of mashup artist Andy Rehfeldt, who combined the devilish vocals from their track Angel of Death with the upbeat 80s synth-pop of Wham!’s holiday classic Last Christmas.

If you’re like us, you’re probably still shopping for Christmas gifts. Glove and Boots stars Mario and Fafa are joined by Zack – a human in a walrus costume – to make sure the items you’re buying really do what they say they will, and that they don’t totally suck.

Craig J. Clark created this unofficial music video for Jonathan Coulton and John Roderick’s modern holiday classic One Christmas at a Time, using only footage from the hilariously awful 1978 show The Star Wars Holiday Special, which you must watch if you’ve never seen it before.

They’ve also illustrated the sequel.

The Flaming Lips’ ringleader Wayne Coyne loves Christmas, though it’s hard to tell from this surreal “Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth” video, an homage (sorta) to the famous David Bowie/Bing Crosby duet. The track was recorded live at Coyne’s Pink Floor Studios in Oklahoma City, and arrives as a single 11/29/19.

Celebrate the holidays with a collection of 24 LEGO Star Wars toys, from minifigs to simple models of spacecraft and droids. Each toy hides behind a door, so kids (or us grownup kids) will have a new treat to enjoy every morning before Santa’s big day.

Every holiday season, we can rely on UK retailer John Lewis to provide us with a charming Christmas commercial. For 2019, they introduce us to a little girl and her friend Edgar, who happens to be a fire-breathing dragon. A Very Spidey Christmas is an EP consisting of Spider-Man-themed Christmas songs sung by Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse voice actors Shameik Moore, Chris Pine and Jake Johnson. We hope they release another one with Spider-Ham and Spider-Man Noir.

Insider shares a simple overview of a machine that makes LED Christmas lights. The machine handles everything from preparing the wires to testing the finished product with no human intervention.

You’ll shoot your eye out, kid! The guys from 8-Bit Cinema retell the oft-quoted holiday classic as a pixelated console adventure game. They really should have had a minigame where you have to glue the leg lamp back together.

Impressionist Jim Meskimen turns in a wonderful reading of Clement Clarke Moore’s Christmas classic in the voices of 27 different celebrities. The usuals, like Morgan Freeman and Ian McKellan are there, but it’s his Paul Giamatti that made us spit out our coffee.

“‘Twas the night before Christmas, all through Mother Base, not a genome was stirring, not even Skullface.” Solid Snake voice actor David Hayter teams up with Liquid Snake voice actor Cam Clarke to read a Metal Gear-themed variant of A Visit from St. Nicholas.
