Awesome Choir

The talented vocalists of Stellenbosch University Choir performed this enveloping cover of the 2012 Fun. track Some Nights, giving the song a rich and layered new sound with a hint of South African flair. The performance took place at the Oude Libertas Amphitheatre and was wonderfully arranged by Tom Anderson.

A group of students form California’s Chino Valley Unified School District were supposed to have a live choir performance, but their show was canceled due to COVID-19. But they turned lemons into lemonade by recording each of their parts of Somewhere Over the Rainbow at home, then posted the mix for the world to enjoy.

Every once in a while, the Rockin’ 1000 assembles a group of musicians from around the globe to offer up one epic rock performance. This time, they gathered at the Commerzbank-Arena, Frankfurt to play the Rage Against the Machine classic, Killing in the Name. We love watching all the drummers banging away in sync.

We’ve got chills, they’re multiplyin’… and you will too with this great group performance of the classic track The One That I Want from the 1970s musical Grease by the members of Toronto’s Choir! Choir! Choir! Danny and Sandy would be so proud.

The members of Toronto ensemble Choir! Choir! Choir! were joined by a special guest performer, none other than pop legend Rick Astley. They provided harmonies and backup while Rick took on lead vocal duties. We’re impressed how great his voice is after all these years.
