Awesome Chet Phillips

Artist Chet Phillips created this series of fanciful illustrations that imagine wild roadside attractions inspired by the music of They Might Be Giants. Sold as a set of six 5″ x 7″ postcards, the fictitious travel destinations include The Puppet Head, The Museum of Idiots, and The Shoe Horn with Teeth, among others.

Artist Chet Phillips is back with more wonderfully illustrated playing cards. His latest deck is a must-have for any cat lover. These unique cards feature 58 kitties inspired by pop culture, historical figures, and other colorful characters. Some of our faves are Frida Khalico, Catsquatch, and Cathulhu. There’s an original image on every card, not just the face cards.

Illustrator Chet Phillips created this series of 11″x 14″ signed prints inspired by vintage Modern Mechanix magazine covers. Each of his imaginative Modern Machines and Inventions covers features a reimagined version of an iconic vehicle or spaceship from pop culture. We can’t decide if we like the Back to the Future or Firefly design the best.

Artist Chet Phillips managed to incorporate three pastimes into one with this deck of cards: baseball, monster movies, and of course poker. The deck features 58 original illustrations of baseball-playing Kaiju from the Godzilla and Ultraman worlds, playing in the Demon Monster League. A limited-edition comes with a custom card box.
