Saturday Night Live is celebrating 50 years of laughs and music. This coffee table book from resident photographer Mary Ellen Matthews showcases some of the many fun-filled photos she’s taken of hosts and musicians over the past two decades. The book features more than 200 portraits and behind-the-scenes images along with a forward by Lorne Michaels.

Steven Blake of the band Animal Sun has figured out that if you listen closely to some popular songs, the vocals sound like they were sung by another famous person. By showing a photo of the person, your brain will be totally convinced that it’s true. Find more examples on their Instagram reels page.

It’s been 38 years since Miami Vice hit the airwaves. The NBC cop drama influenced and reflected 1980s fashion, music, and pop culture. It also featured performances from dozens of celebrities who would go on to bigger things. This compilation showcases 55 stars who appeared on the show between 1984 and 1989.

One of our favorite things about the ’60s Batman TV series was the celebrity cameos as the Dynamic Duo scaled a building with their grappling hook. Tommy Westphall’s Snowglobe compiled a reel of the 15 times a celeb popped out of the window. Is it just us, or does the second guy (George Cisar) sound like Peter Griffin?

Motion designer and editor Duncan Robson has been painstakingly cropping, aligning, and sequencing images from movie posters in order to create the illusion that each featured actor is turning their head. You can view the individual animations over on the project’s Instagram page.

I pity the fool who doesn’t have a Mr. T bomber jacket… or one sporting the visages of Prince, Pee-Wee, Bowie, Freddie or Dolly. These bitchin’ bombers feature original art and design by Austin, Texas textile artist Kayci Wheatley. Coolest of all? There are matching undies too.

The website’s title will draw you in, but you’ll stay for the pictures. The site is filled with unusual celebrity shots. Christopher Walken as a young, handsome man definitely counts as unusual to us.

Blastr’s gallery of sci-fi actors’ yearbook photos is pretty random – Radcliffe is there, but Shatner and Nimoy are missing. But it’s still worth a peek, if only for Chris Pine’s goatee. And Van Damme.
