Awesome Cats

The lightsaber-wielding kittens return, this time for an epic space battle complete with an X-Wing Fighter and Darth Kitty in his TIE Fighter. Reminds us of Laser Cats, but with a much bigger budget.

And we thought Maru only liked boxes. Apparently we were wrong. In fact, the world’s most popular cat doesn’t seems to love paper bags just as much – and the more humiliating the situation, the better.

We thought that cats and exercise equipment were mortal enemies. Who knew that some felines actually like a jog on the treadmill? Neither cat bothered picking up the dumbbells though.

Is it on? Dude, is the camera on? Are you recording? Make sure you get it this time okay? You want to learn how to pull off a tic tac right? Don’t zoom in so much! Okay step back, here I go.

We’re assuming that this cat is so sick and tired of being mauled by this puppy that he’s just given up on life. Or maybe he secretly enjoys it and just doesn’t want us to know.

Miku the cat and his owner don’t need a useless machine to pass the time. All they need is a lid and their paw/finger. Their duel takes an ironic twist  when Miku decides to troll his owner.

The owners of Bert, this 21 pound orange tabby astutely point out the reason why they’re best off not getting a second cat. Or at least not an inflatable one made from Mylar.

Depending on how you look at the world, this is either the greatest thing ever on the Internet (in the last hour), or the end of civilization as we know it. We wish there was a Darth Maul kitten though.

Cats have a tendency to land on their feet no matter how high the jump, but a lift made especially for Mr. Whiskers is a more graceful way for kitty to get downstairs. Cheap version here.

We still enjoy the antics of beloved YouTube cat Maru, even though he has sold himself out now and is about to release a book. On the other hand we’re jumping on the list for preorder, because why not?

We’re guilty of contributing to the widespread epidemic of cat videos on the Web. But until now, we didn’t know the truth behind the myriad cat clips clogging the Interpipes with hairballs.

We all know by now that Maru isn’t exactly the most dignified cat. But that doesn’t stop him from charming the pants off of us with his gymnastic abilities behind the door in this clip.

(NSFW: language) Since we think cats can be regal, fastidious and intelligent creatures, the lyrics in this anthem to stupid cats aren’t exactly accurate; on the other hand, they are rather hilarious.

We’re not quite sure what we’re seeing here, but this kitty gets so spooked that he makes a hasty (and unconventional) break for it. VFX? Hidden wires? Weird cat? You decide. Get the .gif here.

Where it’s at, they’ve got two turntables and a microphone – and three orange tabby kittens who apparently have latent dj talent. We’re canine lovers but let’s face it – dogs couldn’t do this.

Remember the eHarmony Cat Lover? How about Nyan Cat? And the Gregory Brothers? These (and many other cats) head on a direct collision course in their latest auto-tuned wad of bubble gum.

This is Max the cat. And with him is Alex, his…pet? Max isn’t actually from Russia, but he embodies the concept of the meme. We wonder if he also feeds Alex and takes him for walks.

If we squint really hard at the screen and use our imagination, it’s as if the Nyan Cat has been transformed into Indian Nyan Cat and is dancing his way through the Taj Mahal here in this vid.

Is it just us or are cats randomly falling asleep all over the place? Is it some sort of high-pitched alien sound that’s knocking them all out, or are they just really, really sleeeeeeeepy?

Another work week’s over. While some people just have to get down on Friday, we know many of simply want to lie down and pass out, just like Maru here after a day spent playing.

After watching this ten second clip of this sleepy feline, we can’t help but wonder if anyone else besides us out there is envious of how easy this furry guy makes it seem to fall asleep?

Up until this moment, we thought our cat was the only one who acted like a dog. The feline here takes it to the next level – and transitions back in a smooth, stealthy kind of way. (Thanks Chris!)
