Rocket & Klein’s limited-edition desktop toys are inspired by classic sports cars of the 1940s through the 1980s. They come in five streamlined shapes and are made using automotive-grade materials and coated with three layers of non-toxic, UV-resistant paint. Each car measures appx. 12″ long and rides on rubber tires.

Over the years, there have been many attempts to create a car that could fly, but most of them have failed to go into production. KleinVision hopes to break that streak with their AirCar, a transforming vehicle that recently took its maiden flight, going from driving mode to flying mode with ease.

While most cars have less than 300 hp, there are some sports cars that can hit 1000 hp or more. In this collab between Reigarw Comparisons and MetaBallStudios, they look at the power produced by everything from a Toyota Corolla to the Thrust SSC rocket car. After receiving countless fan requests, the guys at DipYourCar got the brightest glow-in-the-dark pigments they could find, and covered a Mitsubishi Evo with the phosphorescent agents. They applied numerous coats on top of a peel-off white basecoat, and the finished effect is impressive in a darkened environment.

Ever wondered what it would be like inside of a car tire as it rolled down the road? We now have the answer, thanks to Warped Perception, who mounted a GoPro and lights inside a wheel before mounting a tire on it. Since the camera can’t see the outside world, all we see is the rubber deforming as it rolls over bumps.

Mazda takes its stylish and fun to drive compact car and bestows it with a much more powerful engine. The 2.5L turbo-4 bumps this Mazda3 to a respectable 250 hp and 320 lb-ft. of torque, along with standard AWD, black 18″ wheels, and more. Coming to both sedan and hatchback variants late 2020.

Lexus’ long-running sports sedan gets a crisp new look, along with upgrades to its handling and dynamics. The car has seen enhancements to its chassis and suspension for a more connected and refined feel. It’s more than an inch longer and wider than before, and can now be equipped with 19″ wheels for greater grip.

We like all kinds of donuts: glazed ones, cake ones, and ones made by rear-wheel drive cars. This brief clip combines both the circular fried treat and circular tire tracks through a slick composite of drone footage and digital VFX. The video wall displays the current time using top-down footage of cars being driven into positions that form digits. The video was directed by Roni Azgad for the car rental company Shlomo SIXT. The Fiat 500 first debuted in 1957, and became an iconic vehicle in Europe and around the globe. LEGO’s 960-piece expert kit is based on the 1965 500F model, and includes a rear engine, a spare tire under the hood, a folding roof, and luggage to mount on its tailgate. LEGO also built a life-size version out of nearly 190,000 bricks.

In a quest for straight-line supremacy, MotorTrend gathered a dozen of the fastest sports cars money can buy. With cars like the McLaren Senna, Porsche 911 Carrera S, Jaguar XE SV Project 8, and Aston Martin DBS Superleggera, it’s gonna be a tough competition down the runway – first in a 1/4-mile, then in a 1/2-mile drag race.

Dimitar Tilev shows off a truly awesome R/C car build. This scale replica of a vintage Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 wagon packs an Arduino-controlled active suspension which can raise and lower, along with a rear-wheel drivetrain that makes it especially adept at drifting. We love the engine noises and light-up tailpipes.

The guys are Russian auto-hacking channel Garage 54 have made some pretty insane stuff. After putting together their own version of the Tesla Cybertruck, they managed to convert a janky old Fiat Uno 70-S into a crazy mutant with six wheels spinning in back. Ironically, it’s still just front-wheel drive.

French artist Zoer transformed a junkyard full of old cars into a giant work of art. He painted each of the 144 cars a different shade, creating a rainbow of color when viewed from above. Each car also has its RGB Hex color value applied to its hood.

As a statement on climate change, conceptual artist Leandro Erlich created a surreal scene right in the middle of Miami Beach. The installation, titled “Order of Importance,” featured 66 actual vehicles buried under sand to create a traffic jam.

We’ve had some experience around here driving around in microcars, but we’ve never seen anything quite like this custom-built remake of a 1970 Chevy Nova, powered by a Kawasaki motorcycle engine. It looks like a pain to get in and out of, but a blast to drive.
