Builder Steve Jones got his hands on the jet engine nacelle from an old Royal Air Force VC10 airplane, and has since transformed the circular housing into a truly unique camper. It can sleep four in its cozy living space, which can transform into a dining room. Check out the full build history on the project’s Facebook page.
French company Beauer designed these curvy campers which can collapse down to the width of a lane for towing, but expand to provide a comfortable living space. Sizes of the 2X and 3X campers range from 86 square feet to 129 square feet when opened. They also make an oblong 3X+ model with an impressive 301 square feet.
This compact trailer is incredibly versatile, in its ability to be used as either a camper or for hauling gear. Its metal structure can transport all kinds of equipment, while its optional pop-up tent can hold a workspace, dining table, or air mattresses, while its roof can carry kayaks, bicycles, or ski for your outdoor adventures.
TetonX’s Jake is a trailer that can be towed by practically any UTV since it weighs only 700lb. It has a trailing arm suspension for off-road use, 27″off-road tires with axle-less suspension, a roof rack system with optional awning, and an optional outdoor kitchen top.
