Awesome Bumblebee

After wowing us with their robotic Optimus Prime and Megatron, Robosen is back with our transforming pal Bumblebee. Licensed by Hasbro and Volkswagen, the friendly Yellow Autobot converts automatically between a classic VW Beetle and his horn-helmeted mech form. It’s even voiced by original Bumblebee actor Dan Gilvezan.

Manila-based maker Real Awesome Workz shows off their epic costume replica of The Transformers’ friendly yellow autobot Bumblebee, which he built primarily out of lightweight EVA foam. The weathered paint job by Preslie Saraza and KT Berondo really help to bring it to life. Be sure to stick around to the end for Battle Mode Bee.

Prop maker Odin Abbott showcases his cutting and painting skills as well as his creativity by making a wearable Bumblebee helmet, complete with light up eyes. As with the rest of his projects, the helmet is made almost entirely out of craft foam.

3A Toys is releasing a Bumblebee action figure based on his appearance in his solo movie. The figure stands 8″ tall and has 55 points of articulation. It has an extra masked head, three pairs of swappable hands and an extra right arm with a blaster. Drops 12/1/18 for $165.
