Musterbrand’s upcoming Black Panther sweater is unmistakably inspired by the hero’s vibranium costume, yet won’t have you looking like you’re in costume. The officially licensed sweater has knit details on the sleeve and a knit chain reminiscent of King T’Challa’s necklace.
Movies often make villains straight-up evil, or have a thinly-explained motives. Lessons from the Screnplay explores how Black Panther’s baddie Eric Killmonger’s motivations are much more relatable than most, creating a well-rounded and compelling character.
Wired spoke with Method Studios’ Visual Effects Supervisor Daryl Sawchuk for a glimpse at how the company made the visual effects for Black Panther‘s suits as well as the climactic battle. It never ceases to amaze us how much of movies these days are CGI.
(Gore) Originally aired in 2010 – and later released on DVD – Marvel and BET’s Black Panther is a motion comic miniseries with lots of action and cheesy humor. The miniseries sees T’Challa go up against a group of supervillains trying to take over Wakanda.
“Is this your king?!” Hot Toys presents the villain from Marvel’s latest hit movie, Black Panther. The Erik Killmonger action figure is dressed in the Golden Jaguar suit. It stands over 12″ tall and comes with four pairs of hands, an extra unmasked head, a sword and a spear.
(PG-13: Language) “I am Killmonger, no one’s perfect, but no one’s worthless. We ain’t deserving of everything Heaven and Earth is.” Kendrick Lamar enlisted both established and up-and-coming stars to create music for and inspired by the upcoming Black Panther film.
Hot Toys’ new sixth-scale Black Panther action figure features both a new body and likeness of actor Chadwick Boseman. It’s also the first Hot Toys figure to have patterns that glow under “specialized” light, which is probably UV light. An LED that emits said light is included.
