Awesome Birdhouse

YouTuber DIY Garage has built several miniature houses using scaled-down bricks and cinder blocks. For this project, they used Mini Materials to construct a place that any bird would be proud to call home. The base of the birdhouse is made from brick and mortar, while the second floor is wood. The roof even has teensy shingles.

Created by Ontario, Canada artists Erica and Steven Moore, this glass and brass bird feeder attaches to your window using clear suction cups, letting you watch birds nibble on seeds up close and personal. It measures appx. 8″ x 8″ x 8″, and is suitable for a variety of avians from chickadees to blue jays.

Do the birds in your neighborhood have an appreciation for contemporary art and architecture? Then set them up with one of sculptor Joe Papendick’s modern metal bird feeders. Each one is hand-welded from steel and coated with rust-proof enamel in a color of your choice. A stainless steel screen holds the bird seed in place.
