Cinematic and moody, that’s just how we like our bike trick vids: here’s 2 minutes of a team of flatland BMX riders tricking through the empty, significantly historical Luna Park in Melbourne.

If designer Brian Russell has his way, you’ll never get a flat again. His concept bike tire is made from rubber stretched over carbon nanotube-reinforced rods, to provide a cushioned ride without air.

Its name is actually a little deceiving. You’ll still need to hunt down an air compressor – but this nifty keychain attachment will convert any standard compressor hose into an impromptu bike pump.

An ingenious bike light that adds a pair of red laser-powered lane markers on either side of you, alerting drivers to keep their distance, and increasing visibility. Also has a bright LED tail light.

Dress up your bicycle with one of F&Y’s gorgeous handcrafted handlebars, made from exotic hardwoods. Each one is fitted with an aluminum center for added strength and durability.

With its carbon fiber reinforced plastic frame, and 2.3 kW motor, Audi’s concept bike can hit speeds up to 50mph in its pedal/electric mode, and 31mph in pure electric. Plus it has a “wheelie” mode.

In a quest for common decency, Casey Neistat conducts a social experiment by stealing bicycles in broad daylight in the middle of New York City in the hopes that somebody will give a damn.

Christophe Robillard’s bold, minimalist bicycle design has a striking matte black frame, offset by skinny whitewall tires and a brown leather seat. No word on if or when it’ll go into production though.

Capable of significantly more complex light shows than MonkeyLectric’s basic LED bike lights, the video Pro system can actually display up to 90 seconds of full-motion video on each of your bike wheels.

Sure, we’ve witnessed plenty of awesome bike stunts, but they’re always using proper street trial bikes. Here, rider Mickael Dupont proves that skills always trump equipment.

Watch in awe as Daniel Sandoval spins his bike into the “world’s first” 720-degree double tailwhip at FISE Costa Rica. Thought it looks to us like this guy might have beaten this feat a couple of years back.

While his video doesn’t have the polish of say, Danny Macaskill’s, we’re still impressed with the bike balancing skills (and patriotism) of biker John Webster as he auditions for Canada’s Got Talent.

Never leave your bike out overnight in the big city. Despite that, Red Peak and Hudson Urban Bicycles wanted to see what would happen if they left a bike locked up for 365 days in NYC’s Soho district.

It’s not like we haven’t seen bikes that fold up to save space before. But Dominic Hargreaves’ prototype folding bike collapses down to the diameter of the wheel itself.
