One of Vanity Fair’s interview gimmicks is to hook up a subject to a lie detector while answering questions. In this episode, Sesame Street’s 8-foot-tall yellow bird does his best to tell the truth as he’s questioned by Barry the technician, and some of his Muppet pals.

Biologist Mike Dickison must have had some spare time during his PhD research on flightless birds, since he had time to spend figuring out the lineage of Sesame Street’s tallest resident.
