Nerdwriter1 outlines the rise of Gotham, the fictional city under Batman’s protection. Like many comic book locales, Gotham has no official map or geography. Instead, it has an unmistakable aura, forever straddling the line between a cliché and an icon.

The criminally underrated Vulture Remix used clips from the 1948 serial Superman and the hilariously awful 1949 serial Batman and Robin to create an early 20th century version of Zack Snyder’s upcoming film.

Who’s Bats’ greatest enemy? The Joker? Jason Todd? Himself? Dorkly imagines a much simpler answer that exposes Bruce for the insane and spoiled brat that he is. The funniest thing about this is that Neil Gaiman already made this joke.

Batman meets a thug who also lost his parents at an early age. They bond over their common experiences, like living alone in a mansion and spending your adult life punching your anger out instead of looking for more productive ways to help.

Batman started out as a lethal force of justice, but in the 1940s he and his sidekick Robin adopted a no killing rule. Which, as Mr. Sunday Movies shows, he absolutely did not obey. Yep, he went on to off people in the comics too.

Illustrator Marco D’Alfonso pokes fun at the horrible Batman & Robin and its nippled suits by mashing it up with Rolling Stone‘s infamous Janet Jackson magazine cover. The poster measures 11″x 14.5″ and has a 0.25″ border for framing.

A direct-to-video animated movie featuring twisted versions of Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. To promote the movie, DC and Machinima are releasing an animated short film for each character.

Apparently a lot of people disagreed with how the Super Power Beat Down between Batman and Darth Vader ended, so Bat in the Sun made an alternate version of the short film. If you’ve seen the original, you can skip to 2:55 for the battle.

Armatus Designs isn’t just making any old cosplay Batsuit. His version can actually take a punch. In fact, it can take lots of punches. His padded and armored suit is also lined with Kevlar. Though it won’t help in all situations.

Rocksteady’s upcoming Batman game is looking more and more polished, as Scarecrow assembles a rogues’ gallery of baddies to destroy Batman and take over Gotham once and for all. PS3/PS4 players get a bonus set of Scarecrow missions.
